A true gathering of horsehide experts. ⸻ 🧥 Model: “Norton” Aviator Coat This is the reservation page for: FINE CREEK LEATHERS “Norton.” ⸻ 🔥 Leather Norton uses the same horsehide developed for: “Lindbergh” which was released exclusively through direct sales by FINE CREEK on October 16, 2020. In reality, it is extremely difficult to consistently secure horsehide large enough for this model. Thanks to the tremendous cooperation of the tannery, especially large and thick hides are specifically reserved for Norton production. These precious hides are finished into: • 1.8mm–2.0mm horsehide • Heavy oil-content leather • Full vegetable-tanned • Original recipe tea-core horsehide The finish was specifically developed to express the atmosphere of the 1930s envisioned by Zaki-san. The leather features: • Incredibly moist texture • Powerful grain expression • Visible veins and natural character • Deep tea-core aging across broad surfaces The aging potential is absolutely exceptional. ⸻ 🔥 Concept & Construction Norton represents the accumulation of everything FINE CREEK LEATHERS has pursued through years of experimentation. This original Aviator Coat was created not only to age beautifully over time, but also to visually express aging in ways rarely seen in traditional leather jacket construction. To maximize the potential of the leather, completely unconventional construction methods were incorporated during production.
