Just like FINE CREEK LEATHERS’ interpretation of vintage leather wear, CWORKS expresses a completely unique interpretation of workwear. From there, the concept evolved further — rather than simple reproductions, CWORKS represents leather wear with more freedom, playfulness, and a stronger “town wear” approach. Because Zaki-san has created so many different leather jackets over the years, CWORKS allows him to fully express: “having more fun with leather.” That spirit is strongly reflected throughout the brand. ⸻ 🧥 Model: Leaward All Deer Leather Award Jacket This is the very first award jacket (stadium jacket) released within the FINE CREEK universe. At first glance, it looks like traditional melton wool. But up close — you realize it is actually all leather. An all-deer leather award jacket. Truly incredible. ⸻ 🔥 Leather & Construction The body uses: 1.6mm+ deer suede with the grain side intact. The deer leather fibers were carefully adjusted and refined through repeated experimentation in order to recreate the appearance of classic melton fabric as closely as possible. The sleeves use: luxurious 1.6mm full vegetable-tanned deer skin with a through-dyed natural finish. As the jacket is worn: • The leather develops deeper luster • The grain becomes sharper and more expressive • Beautiful natural wrinkles appear • The fit becomes incredibly soft and body-hugging One of the greatest features of FINE CREEK deer leather is that the hides are not aggressively shaved down to create uniform thickness. Thicker areas are intentionally preserved so that each part of the jacket displays its own unique character and expression. This means: • The left and right sides differ • Front and back panels differ • Every section has unique texture and depth Personally, that individuality is one of the most attractive aspects. Model: 170cm / 60kg Wearing size 36 The striped ribbing adds a catchy vintage sportswear atmosphere. Despite being entirely leather, the jacket is extremely soft and easy to wear. It is also highly recommended as an entry point into leather jackets. And honestly — people who love leather always want to touch leather. The pocket lining behind the welt pockets uses smooth deer leather, allowing you to subtly enjoy the texture of leather every time you place your hands inside. The lining uses quilted cupro fabric for excellent sleeve glide and comfort. Unlike horsehide or cowhide, which often come from livestock raised for meat production, deer hides naturally contain: • Scratches • Scars • Veins • Wild grain patterns FINE CREEK intentionally selects especially large hides to preserve large single leather panels whenever possible. Because of this, the natural marks become even more visible. These imperfections could be hidden using heavy pigment finishes — however, that would destroy the natural texture, drape, and beauty unique to deer leather. To preserve the original atmosphere and softness of the leather, FINE CREEK finishes the hides using: • Full vegetable tanning • Through-dyeing • Natural finish without excessive correction Personally, I own many FINE CREEK deer leather pieces myself. Yes, they contain scratches — but they become incredibly comfortable, develop amazing luster, and age beautifully over time. I hope you can appreciate those natural marks as part of the true beauty of FINE CREEK deer leather.
