Inspired by vintage garments, the brand expresses familiar vintage aesthetics through a variety of leathers — not only horsehide, but also FINE CREEK & CO’s original recipe deerhide, which deserves special attention. Under Zaki-san’s philosophy that: “This shape can only be made with this leather, this texture, and this specific finish,” only carefully selected leathers finished with original recipes are used. Pattern making, leather cutting, and construction are all handled by specialists gathered together to create truly exceptional leather garments. ⸻ 🧥 Model: “Rosen Jacket” Zip Cossack Jacket (Horsehide) BLACK From FINE CREEK & CO comes: the “Rosen Jacket” — a beautifully solid zip-front cossack jacket with incredible vintage atmosphere. ⸻ 🔥 Leather The leather is a newly developed horsehide: • 1.3mm+ thick • Full vegetable-tanned • Pigment-finished • High-oil-content horsehide For the BLACK version, the finish intentionally retains: • A moderate sheen • A natural unfinished appearance and texture • Exceptional softness and wearability This tea-core horsehide is truly something special. By increasing the oil content: • The leather becomes softer and more durable • The texture feels moist and supple • The jacket molds to the body almost like deer leather When pressure is applied through wear and movement, the oils migrate within the leather, creating: 🔥 Pull-up effects 🔥 Natural color variation 🔥 Incredible depth and dimensional aging The more it is worn, the more character it develops. ⸻ 🔥 Design The Rosen Jacket is a zip-front cossack jacket featuring: • A distinctive rounded collar • A beautifully clean and solid design The inspiration comes from a vintage hair-on-hide cossack jacket owned by Zaki-san. However, instead of reproducing the original hair-on-hide look, the design is intentionally expressed in a monochromatic single-tone BLACK finish. By subtracting unnecessary elements, the result is: a minimalist, solid, and incredibly stylish cossack jacket. The wide front placket also allows FINE CREEK’s signature puckering to develop beautifully over time.
