FINE CREEK LEATHERS Taker – Motorcycle Jacket Pre-Order The Taker is FINE CREEK LEATHERS' original motorcycle jacket for the 2026 Autumn/Winter Collection. It is made from the same extraordinary horsehide that was used for the limited direct-sale model Lindbergh, originally released on October 16, 2020. Finding hides large enough for this jacket is extremely difficult. Thanks to the close cooperation of the tannery, exceptionally large hides are carefully reserved whenever they become available. The leather is a rare 1.8–2.0 mm full vegetable-tanned horsehide, heavily infused with oils and finished using FINE CREEK LEATHERS' exclusive original recipe to recreate the atmosphere of authentic 1930s American jackets. Its rich grain, natural vein markings, smooth touch, and dramatic tea-core aging are truly exceptional. As the jacket ages, the brown core gradually emerges across the surface, creating the bold patina that has become a signature of FINE CREEK LEATHERS. The Story Behind Taker The development of the Taker was inspired by the brand's original aviator coat, Norton. The question was simple: "How do we create a motorcycle jacket that can stand proudly next to the Norton?" That challenge became the concept behind the Taker. While maintaining the visual identity of the Norton through its curved front design, the Taker introduces a shorter body, more room through the shoulders and chest, and a distinctly American inverted-triangle silhouette. Shoulder pads further emphasize the upper body, creating a powerful presence without sacrificing comfort. To maximize the leather's natural character, FINE CREEK adopted entirely new construction methods that go beyond conventional leather jacket manufacturing techniques. The result is a jacket with greater visual depth, stronger dimensional aging, and outstanding character over time. Every detail was carefully considered: Beautiful whether fully buttoned, partially opened, or completely open. Aggressive curved sleeve construction for natural riding movement. Sharp yet organic lines throughout the jacket. A perfectly balanced silhouette from every angle. One of FINE CREEK LEATHERS' defining characteristics is the leather layout. Master cutter Mr. Arima carefully positions each panel so that heavily grained areas, natural vein markings, and smoother sections complement one another, creating a jacket with exceptional visual balance. Even the leather selected for the shoulder pads features expressive grain patterns to maximize both impact and functionality.
