Following the release of the double riders jacket 【ARCTURUS】, BOOTES presents: 【AUROCHS】D-Pocket Riders Jacket The AUROCHS is a D-pocket riders jacket based on a vintage motorcycle jacket produced by the private brand “A” of company “S” from the 1940s–1950s. The jacket is made from exceptional 2.5 mm-thick steerhide, full vegetable-tanned and dye-finished. The leather contains a generous amount of oil. When new, it has a calm, matte appearance and texture, but as you continue wearing it, it gradually develops a rich and beautiful sheen. Combined with the bold, pronounced grain of the steerhide, the leather develops an incredible depth of character with age. The leather also features a sandwich-dyed “brown core” construction. With wear, subtle brown tones gradually begin to emerge across the surface, creating a distinctive and beautiful vintage character. This is leather made to be worn and aged. Vintage-Inspired Details The zippers are made by TALON. The shoulder studs and snap buttons are completely original steel parts, faithfully recreated based on vintage components owned by Zaki-san. These small details give the AUROCHS an incredible vintage presence. The removable collar uses mouton, carefully selected for its pile length and texture. Because the mouton collar can be removed, you can enjoy the jacket throughout different seasons and completely change its appearance depending on how you wear it. The interior features a soft and comfortable quilted lining. Silhouette & Wearing Experience The silhouette retains the atmosphere of a vintage riders jacket while being carefully updated for modern wear.
