FINE CREEK & CO takes inspiration from vintage wear and infuses it into various types of leather—most notably horsehide and the brand's original formula deerskin. The result is a line of garments that evoke a sense of déjà vu through distinct material expressions. Each piece is made under the firm belief of Mr. "Zaki" Yamazaki, who insists: "This specific shape requires this specific leather, this specific finish, and nothing else." Only specially selected leathers, finished with original recipes, are used. Cutting, patterning, and production are carried out by a team of specialists. 【Bad / バッド】Deer (BLACK) Introducing the “Bad” model from FINE CREEK & CO—an iconic collarless leather jacket, now in an exclusive deerskin version. Crafted from 1.6mm thick, full vegetable-tanned, aniline-finished deerskin with a natural grain. The leather is soft yet luxurious, and develops a richer luster the more you wear it. The unique grain pattern and subtle wrinkling give it edge, while the fit offers an incredibly supple feel. (Same leather used in the “Clubman Deer” model.) This version features padded sections while maintaining a collarless design. The padding is filled with 5mm of cotton—just enough to be seen but not so much that it compromises comfort or mobility. Rather than adding bulk, the padding is tastefully integrated to create a clean silhouette around the shoulders, with visible stitching kept to a minimum for a refined look. Though the design appears rugged at first glance, once worn, it becomes clear just how stylish and easy to coordinate it is—thanks to the minimalist, collarless structure. The lining is made from cupra for smooth layering and comfort. The fit is similar to the “Bud / バド” Heavy Weight model, with inner facing at the cuffs and hem. Please note: This model runs slightly larger than the standard “Bud” and should be considered approximately one size bigger. I myself have been breaking in the horsehide “Bad” model, but let me tell you—the deerskin version is just next level!
